As part of the extension work on the Maurice Jardot donation, the modern art collections have been moved to Tower 41. The change of exhibition space, in the spirit of Maurice Jardot’s collection, is by no means insignificant, as he had chosen the building, its interior design and its architect Charlotte Perriand. In Tower 41, the permanent exhibition of works attempts to preserve certain key features of Jardot’s collection : a taste for books, complicity with artists, and formal audacity.
