Located in the centre of Arbois, the capital of Jura wines, the Jura Wine and Vine Museum has been housed in Château Pécauld since 1993.
Outside the entirely restored château (13th to 18th centuries), planted vines illustrate the historical and contemporary work of the Franche-Comté winegrower over the seasons and the different grape varieties planted in the region.
In the Museum cellars and exhibition rooms, the different vinification methods and history as well as traditions of the winemaking world are presented and explained.
