Wheat and Bread Museum

2, Rue de l’Egalité
71350 Verdun-sur-le-Doubs
The museum is only open in July and August.
Afternoons from Wednesday to Sunday.

In the centre of old Verdun, a beautiful 18th-century mansion has opened its doors to host an exhibition devoted to the history of wheat, a nourishing cereal deeply rooted in our shared history, and that of bread, the essential food of our societies past and present. The reconstructions evoke memories of how food was made, preserved and eaten. Film screenings round off the visit to the site.
